Medicinal herbs are drugs, albeit natural. This study shows western medicine showing potency of Paeoniflorin in neurological activity. But, it seems that only Chinese Medicines practitionners would know what to do with it…

Calcium is Key to Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Treatments (Ivanhoe)


SJCRG:
Quoting Ivanhoe
“…mutant protein linked to night blindness is missing its tail end, and that the missing “tail” controls how much calcium enters cells…”
This might mean that calcium supplements won’t help much, you need to allow the Ca to enter the cell…
This is a typical example as why ingesting supplements does not always help a condition where a mineral/vitamin is lacking. Like feeding a hungry that is stomach impaired…
