No heart benefit seen with fibrates [Tricor] in diabetics (reuters)


SJCRG: In a nutshell, study purports that a class of drugs called fenofibrates, who aim to to lower the blood fat triglycerides and raise good HDL cholesterol, are of little benefit. TriCor, from Abbots labs belongs to such.
Study conclusions do not seem iron clad, but raises a flag. click HERE for Reuters article.

Some High Blood Pressure Drugs To Enhance Acid Reflux [GERD] (medicalnewstoday)

This study is more important than it might seem: Both High blood Pressure and Acid Reflux are very common.
GERD or acid reflux can lead to oesophageal cancer.
